Show events surrounding selected event

When checking event details, you should be able to check the surrounding events (within a defined timeframe - e.g., ± 5 mins). The filter for the surrounding events can be different from the original filter filtering the specific event.

Allow to pin selected events

Idea: on hover, show pin icon to pin the event → put it on top of the listed events so that you can distinguish it from the rest should adjust the URL properly so that you can share it

From the UI, on a device detail, select the lowest log level the device should be sending to the cloud. The setting is automatically propagated to the device.

Optimize UI for mobile devices

A significant portion of users access the Spotflow platform using mobile devices. Even though we can’t fully optimize the experience on mobile, given the screen size, there are a couple of “low-hanging fruit” adjustments that dramatically improve the experience.

Use symbol file to interpret crash dump

Allow uploading a symbol file to interpret the dump automatically. Support a unique firmware build ID to connect the symbol file with the build. Symbol files and firmware versions management.

Automatic collection of Zephyr OS metrics

Introduce the concept of metrics so that it can be used for numerical operations. E.g., for alerting purposes or reporting. Automatically collect system metrics from Zephyr & Freertos. Metrics like CPU usage, heap size, memory allocation,…

Compact logs

With compact logs, the device sends a format-string address and raw argument bytes instead of formatted text. Spotflow retrieves constant strings from the firmware ELF and formats the log in the cloud, reducing device-side work and message size.
